Moonshot #4: Correspondences Launch Party at Housing Works

As the weather warms up and jackets disappear, Moonshot‘s Summer 2012 issue draws nearer. Moonshot #4: Correspondences will include work by Michael KimballTerese SvobodaVictoria RedelChloe Caldwell, and many other writers and poets. In this issue, you’ll bake beside a Floridian pool for a stifling family get-together, stand inside a ruinous hurricane, and savor confessions of the sweltering heat.

Etta Place is joining us this issue to bring together a provocative mixed-media art experience. Sisters Genevieve and Liz Dimmitt—who also curate the Gawker Artists program—founded the independent curatorial project Etta Place to showcase a hand-selected group of artists, designers, and creators. Artists this issue include Molly George, B.Thom, and Stephen Zerbe.

We’ll be celebrating summer and the release of Correspondences on May 23, 2012 at 7pm at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. There will be performances by Chloe Caldwell, Skye TylerRichard KostelanetzDawn RaffelVictoria Redel, and Terese Svoboda. Copies of Correspondences will go on sale at the release party, but can be pre-ordered online here. Housing Works is located at 126 Crosby Street, New York, NY 10012.
